Finding Us at the Airport/Train Station on 3-October

Brussels

Brussels National Airport

Look for desks set-up in front of the exit doors in arrival hall, just after customs clearance (there is only 1 exit, with 2 doors within 5 m from each other). There will be signs with the summit logo. The staff will assist in getting you to the shuttle. If you arrive after 8:30 pm, please look for someone holding a Mozilla Summit sign (no desks), and they will help you.

Shuttles will depart every 30 minutes. If you arrive into the Brussels Airport and cannot find someone to help you, please call +32 471/89 35 46

Train Station - Bruxelles Midi / Brussel Zuid At Bruxelles MIDI station - Staff with Mozilla signs will greet you in the main hall, between Thalys and Eurostar arrivals. If you arrive into the Bruxelles MIDI Train Station and cannot find someone, please call +32/474 70 77 16.

Please note - If you arrive into Brussels Centrale, you are within walking distance of hotels, except The Hotel. If you arrive into Brussels Nord, you should make your way to Midi or Centrale.

Toronto

ARRIVALS IN PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (YYZ)

Pearson International Airport has 2 terminals - Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

Both International and Domestic passengers in each terminal will be met by trained professional Meet & Greet staff in the arrivals hall after exiting the baggage carrousel hall. Staff will have a sign with the Mozilla logo to welcome you and assist you to your pre-arranged transportation. International passengers will go through Canadian Customs and Immigration before exiting the baggage hall.

A Greeters Booth with signage at the top will be located in the International arrivals area of each terminal. Once you have exited the baggage area, if you do not immediately see our staff with sign please proceed to the booth. Once you have checked in with our staff you will be escorted to your vehicle and transferred to the Sheraton Centre Hotel. If for some reason you do not connect with our Meet & Greet staff please call Linda De Marco at 416-527-0355.

ARRIVALS IN BILLY BISHOP DOWNTOWN ISLAND AIRPORT (YTZ)

International arriving passengers will go through Canadian Customs and Immigration before exiting the baggage hall. Once you have collected your bags and exited the baggage hall please follow the signs to the ferry boat for a short ride to the mainland. You will be met by your sedan driver as you exit the ferry terminal on the main land holding a sign with your name for your transfer to the Sheraton Centre Hotel.

Santa Clara

DOMESTIC

Upon arrival (SFO/SJC) proceed to baggage claim and look for your greeter holding a sign with the Summit Logo. Your greeter will get you on the shuttle and off to the hotel. There may be a short wait time, but no longer than 30 minutes.

INTERNATIONAL

Upon arrival (SFO/SJC) look for your greeter holding a sign with the Summit Logo once you exit the customs area. Your greeter will get you on the shuttle and off to the hotel. There may be a short wait time, but no longer than 30 minutes.

Getting there if you do not arrive on 3-October

Mozillians who are not arriving on 3-October and/or leaving on 7-October, you will need to take care of your own transportation to/from the hotel/venue (and submit for reimbursement through the Reps program for volunteers or bill.com for staff.)

The Hotel

Taxis: Taxis are available in front of the arrivals hall at Brussels Airport. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem. Taxi fare is approximately 45€.

Train:

  • The Airport Train Station is located below the terminal (basement level 1). Approximately 4 trains per hour offer connections from the airport to Brussels Midi Station.
  • From Brussels Midi Station take Metro Line 2 (direction SIMONIS-ELISABETH) until LOUIZA Metro Station which is only about 300 meters away from The Hotel Brussels.

Metro/Bus: Urban public transportation company STIB offers “The Airport Line”; an express connection (30 minutes) between Brussels National Airport and the European district:

  • Line 12: Take this shuttle until “LUXEMBOURG” bus stop.
    • Transfer to Line 64 until the “PORTE DE NAMUR” stop. The Hotel Brussels is 400 meters away from this stop. Note: This train is only operated from Monday-Friday until 8pm
  • Line 21: Take this shuttle until the “LUXEXMBOURG” bus stop.
    • Transfer to Line 64 until the “PORTE DE NAMUR” stop. The Hotel Brussels is 400 meters away. Note: This train is only operated during the week after 8pm, on Saturday, Sundays and Holidays.

Train/Metro Bus: Central Station is just a short walk away, offering transportation access to subway, bus and national rail.

  • National rail from Brussels Airport costs €7.80.
  • International rail (Thalys, Eurostar, TGV) arrives at Brussels South (Midi) station. National rail from there costs €2 (a Jump Card that's accepted by all public transport in Brussels).

Train: The train is the fastest way from the airport to the hotel. Airport Express trains depart every 15 minutes and take only 20 minutes to reach Brussels Central Station (Gare Centrale), which is only a few hundred meters from the property.

Metro/Bus: Guests can travel most efficiently throughout Brussels via the metro system. The DE BROUKERE and Central Station stops are only a few hundred meters away. Another convenient option is the public bus, which stops directly next to the hotel’s main entrance.

  • Terminal 3 International – Post 31

Airport Commissionaires are on duty on the curb if you need assistance to locate the ground transportation

TORONTO AIRPORT EXPRESS: The Toronto Airport Express is a shared shuttle service that takes you from the airport to the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. You can pre-purchase tickets online or you can purchase at the airport.

There are clearly marked bus stops at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The shuttle is a yellow bus that says “Airport Express” and has a picture of an airplane on it.

Shuttle Fare: $27.95 CAD One Way or $42 CAD Round Trip Trip Time: Approximately 1 hour

Billy Bishop Downtown Island Airport (YTZ)

Once you have collected your bags and exited the baggage hall please follow the signs to the ferry boat for a short ride to the mainland. The ferry is free and runs about every 15 minutes.

Once on the mainland, proceed to the taxi stand. Taxis stage in the loop directly in front of the ferry terminal.

Taxi Fare: $12 CAD roundtrip (approximately) Trip Time: 15 minutes

Santa Clara

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

TAXI SERVICE: Once guests leave the International Terminal or retrieve their luggage from their respective carousels (for Domestic Flights), they will follow signage for Taxi Service.

Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located at the roadway center islands, on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level of all terminals.

Please Note: Uniformed taxi coordinators are stationed at the taxi zones from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. to assist passengers with questions or concerns. Taxi drivers are required by law to leave from the taxi zones only.

Estimated taxi fare: $120.00 USD (one way)

SHARED RIDE VANS: Van service is available on a walk-up basis. However, passengers are advised to make reservations for service after 11:00 p.m.

Once guests leave the International Terminal or retrieve their luggage from their respective carousels (for Domestic Flights), they will follow signage for Shared Ride Vans which is located one level up on the Departures/Ticketing level.

Shared-ride vans pick up passengers on the Departures/Ticketing Level from the roadway center island at all terminals.

Please Note: Shared-ride vans provide service between SFO and passenger-specified locations. Depending on the number of passengers, shared-ride vans may make multiple stops.

San Jose International Airport (SJC)

TAXI SERVICE: There are two terminals at SJC (A and B). Taxis are stationed at the Airport for on-demand service. They are accessible from Terminal A and Terminal B (see diagram below and areas marked “T”).

Estimated Taxi Fare: $30.00 USD (one way)

SHARED RIDE VANS: There are numerous shared van services available on a walk up bases at SJC. These services are stationed at the airport for on-demand service and are located on the lower level of the Terminal A parking garage and at the Ground Transportation Center across the street from the Terminal B baggage claim area (see diagram).

Please Note: Shared-ride vans provide service between SJC and passenger-specified locations. Depending on the number of passengers, shared-ride vans may make multiple stops.
