A patch for Metalink creation with Bouncer is available from Metalink tools project.

Metalink is an XML format for listing how to get files (mirrors and their location, p2p) and their content (full file checksums, chunk checksums, language, OS/architecture, version, and other metadata). Metalink is supported by many download programs such as download managers, FTP clients, and P2P apps. By giving the user the option of a Metalink, their download program can automate choices for the best URLs to use based on priority or location, and chunk checksums for repairing downloads.
