Development Summary and Future Iterations

The future weeks are our goals for the iterations, so that we can assess in the retrospectives.

• Last Week
  • Initial work on contacts - users you have conversations with are now saved automatically
  • Logins are now persistent unless the server is restarted or they expire
  • The establishing a call work is now completed
• This Week
  • Conversation window improvements
  • sending of files
  • conversation history
    • Text history only for now
    • Rewritten the card in a more user-focussed way
  • functional test improvements
    • Given the problems, looking at other bindings
    • Looking at python binding & bringing results back to the group

Social API

• Tear-off windows now available
  • Camera icon & title of window disappears
• Permissions dialogs landed, use 24a2 or later!

UX

• On a work week this week

Product

Had a discussion about the vision for Talkilla and the impact on the work in progress. The general thought is that this is just a reframing of the long-term vision. There may be some change of short-term focus, but this will just be fed into the backlog to be picked up as we go.
