Product

  • Suggest we move fast towards platform for multiple SPA based architecture
    • Accountless communications to wait until architecture of SPA fully developed
  • Might be getting some extra help from services team
    • could be focussed on address book and/or scalability of core services

Goals & Roadmap Priorities

Q3 Goals:

  • Deploy to a small set of specific users with specific feedback requests
  • Develop SPA Architecture
  • Define the Address Book Adapter

Development Summary and Future Iterations

The future weeks are our goals for the iterations, so that we can assess in the retrospectives.

  • Last Week
    • First refactoring of the worker to split out the server communication part
    • Fixed a few bugs starting calls (generally call notifications weren't received at the other end)
    • Set up a talkilla-dev environment for deploying individual tests
    • Mute - now have local & remote
  • This Week
    • More refactoring towards SPA
    • Prepare for work week discussions:
      • Address Book UX
      • Identity/Authentications discussions
  • Primary focuses
    • Florian & Romain focussing on SPAs
    • Nicolas working on Address Book
    • Dan on front-end

UX

  • Going to review Trello cards order, adding a few more
  • Going through at Needs UX Cards, particularly video/chat window missing bits
  • Mocking up what mute/call/quit buttons we actually want on chat window, because right now it's a bit weird
  • Discussions/thoughts about address books

Social API

  • feature bugs all landed
  • cleanup in progress
  • some australis focus
  • Sub-worker enabling landed in FF 25
  • Headless social providers still being looked at wrt inter-app communication API

Diagnostics Website

  • Written some use cases & scenarios
    • Florian to look at these
    • Add some cards to the trello

Meet-ups

  • September
    • Location: SFO
    • Dates: week of the 16th September
