  • Going through more polish iterations - getting pretty close, just dealing with some smaller details

  • Starting to get the first tests up and running on our development channels
    • expect something next week for Aurora+beta + users with the extension
    • Only tests, see how the stats comes back from - data won't be used to make decision.
    • making sure users experience is ok.

Marketing Updates

  • Thunderbird ADUs reached high of 7.7MM led by Germany, US, France, Japan, Italy and Poland.
  • Tb 8 adoption rate very strong, 8 days to 50% of users compared to Thunderbird 7.0 12 days.

  • Fixed a few small website bugs(earlybird favicon, etc)
  • Closed remaining TB6 & 7 l10n bugs, only TB8 ones are left.
  • wrote some code for AOL account provisioner based on previous documentation, but still don't have any server to test on :(

Documentation

  • new snippet on MDN: Get MIME Headers for any message (thanks Protz!)
  • clean-up and maintenance on MDN
  • four major Knowledge Base article edits from contributors
  • training with practicum students on style, standards, etc
