- AT&T Supplies a 2-Wire (TM) router and controls it. User doesn't have control over opening AT&T blocked ports on the router.
- This router is set by default to block port 25, since AT&T Yahoo servers use SSL authentication. If you want to use port 25 on a non AT&T Yahoo email server, need to get AT&T support to unblock it. As an alternative, you should be able to use SSL authentication if your smtp server supports it.
- A far as we know, AT&T's default router config does NOT block port 465 and 587 over SSL and TLS by default, just port 25
