About Us
Official Mozilla wiki page of Tropical Firefox Ambassadors, a club focused on gathering all main technologies of mozilla and firefox to our campus, located in one of most tropical and paradisiacal city of the whole world - Maceió. Club Leader and Founder
Durval Pereira
Working with web technologies since 2004, started to engage with web community in 2013, gathering developers from different places and organizations to work together and to learn about technologies in general. Carrying an imaginary pack that has different technologies knowledge during all these years, now he wants to make sure that all students from his campus can learn with him and many others experienced developers. In the last 3 years organized more than 10 events and is engaged with more than 5 different developer groups, leading to the foundation of the main development group of his campus, GODs - Group of Developers.

Coordinators
André Santana - Technology Coordinator
Computer science student and developer with an interest in web technologies and seeking knowledge about the various areas of computing.

Web developer expert in back-end, loves to share experiences and knowledge with the community. He is also a Computer Engineering student and has a serious relationship with C++.

Caio Barbosa - Academic Activities Coordinator
Java lover, Android developer and Web development curious. Currently working with Data Mining and Software Security. Past works with Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. President of the Student Union in Computer Institute at UFAL. Now he is trying to share all those experience with the students of his campus.

Filipe Falcão - Recruitment Coordinator
Developer who loves what he does, loves challenges and actively participates of the local development communities and events. Also a Computer Science student, working with Software Security in Web systems. Joined the course because loves tech, programming and to learn more and more. Spread knowledge and learn more is his main goal for the community.

We are in process of recruitment.
Our Structure
We have two exclusive rooms of 15 square meters each. Both rooms are equipped with 8 PCs and 2 Macs in total - also having spaces for personal use with your laptops -, Full HD projector to presentations, climatization and a lot of devices for you to test your applications - Android, iPhones and Firefox OS devices! Last but not least, a coffe machine!
We also have 3 labs of 40 square meters each with 24 PCs/lab - for workshops and courses.
How to use our space
Keep in mind that this is a shared environment, before doing any action in relation to space, chat with other users about this. Here everyone is welcome, whether you're a freelancer, an entrepreneur, or even a teacher looking for a space to teach a course or training. For the remaining few coworking spaces. If you still have questions, you can make contact and schedule a visit.
