Fx 2.0.0.8
- Fx 2008rc1 builds generated last Thursday (10/04). QA completed basic testing including l10n builds.
- Community memembers reported two regressions over the weekend. We will start respinning an RC2 today, 10/8.
- bug 398422 - Dragging bookmarks folder fails with "aArray has no properties"
- Fix for bug 179658 will have to be backed out.
- bug 398837- Keyboard accelerators missing on Security Warning dialog
- Fix has been reviewed and approved to land

- We will try to push updates to "beta" users by 10/11 (Thursday)

- Code freeze scheduled for Wed, Oct 17th
- Tree threat level has been kept at "orange" due to the number of outstanding M9 blocker bugs that need to land before freeze, but as we approach freeze, expect an announcement (in mozilla.dev.planning and on the Mozilla Developer News blog) about moving to "red"

- FFx 2.0.0.8- Performed bug verifications, completed L10n Spot Testing, Automated Smoketests for Rc1 Builds via Eggplant, performed BFT testing [juanb, tomcat, jay, marcia, tchung, others]
- Tested printing/print preview this week, because bug 154892 (Splitting Absolutely positioned frames not implemented - Missing second page of content when printing or print previewing this site) was fixed by fantasai. Found two crash bugs that might be regressions from that bug, bug 398322 and bug 398332. [martijn]

Test Development
- Completed tests for bug 315920 - attribute and event state change optimizations in nsCSSStyleSheet assume changes are sequential [clalbert]
- Generated an RSS testcase for protocol handling team. Also created this test to illustrate the specific issues. Tested the protocol handling issues with RSS feeds, and was able to illuminate several issues where that support is lacking. Details in bug 387494
- Completed the first draft of the Leopard Platform Test Plan for FF 3/FF 2 [marcia]
- Tabbed Browsing test development: Wrote Litmus testcases for testday. Sent the Tabbed Browsing test plan to Dão for feedback
