Gecko 1.9 Roundtable
- 1.9 alpha triage meeting
- Thursday 3PM
- Purpose of 1.9a triage: decide on and publish triage guidelines
- States:
- blocks a1 ("next milestone")
- blocks a2 ("milestone after next, only appears when we're in the a1 endgame")
- blocks final release
- really want but doesn't block

- blocking-1.9 flag that can have any of the above states
- show flag state in column bug list
- myk and dbaron will talk to bugzilla folks to see if we can do the above
- will start doing triage using current system + and set keywords

Firefox 3
- want iteration on firefox goals/themes
- will pick goals for firefox 3 and gather data to support or dispute those goals
- split between gecko 1.9 and firefox 3 themes; there needs to be some overlap; firefox3 is a product, that will include both gecko 1.9 and the firefox 3 features
- we need firefox 3 plan very soon -- engineers will be ready to work on fx3 very shortly
- focus on user experiences, what do we want users to be able to do with firefox
- need to start the (painful!) design discussions now; beltzner to mail out his initial list to newsgroups/publish on wiki; will discuss next week
