Pascal
planned for this week:
- Privacy Coach add-on for Android, check l10n with Margaret, probably launch translation this week using same process as add-ons I localized with Margaret around Australis launch
- Look for new localizers for the locales that are behind before the Firefox Anniversary
done last week:
- Transvision 3.5.1 to fix a bad merge that would have prevented updating locales/branches outside of releases. We decided with flod to ship Transvision releases more often, on a fixed schedule with what we have ready, to avoid regressions caused by merge conflicts over 3 months.
- Published the CLI script our Asturian localizer uses to localize Firefox https://github.com/pascalchevrel/cli_product_l10n also worked with him and his coder for an improved version they will provide via pull requests
- Helped Sylvestre with his work on refactoring the product-details library as we are the main consumers (feedback on his code, testing, looking for where the library is used, backing out his patches at night when they broke mozilla.org dev site…)
- Small patch for Bedrock to have localized numbers in jinja templates using Babel library (https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/commit/655649f5443841250a34fb8dba5c13e82977ecc9)
- Fixed escaping of html in Entity view in Transvision (bug reported by JasnaPaka)
- Recontacted 2 people I met at EITSL to help with Galician l10n
- Meeting with CBT team for new Get involved page to find ways to allow us to ship locales on the 14th even though they don't have the autoresponders ready (proposed a generic autoresponder as a short term solution)
- Worked with French community and Natalia (marketing team) on Firefox OS mini site targetting French speaking market, mostly worked on backend stuff such as automatic pushes to prod via github webhooks (ended up using https://gist.github.com/pascalchevrel/463fc7b1f0382f187820 in case you need this feature for your projects) and setting up a beta server for development
- Worked with travel agency to book my flight for Portland
