Fennec 9.0 Beta 4 Test Plan

Smoketests

Lite verification tests (or smoketests) will be first run when the builds are ready. Tests are available on litmus under the Fennec 9.0 Test Suite, and Fennec 9.0 Test Suite for Tablets . In any case of failure in any Smoketest, blockers need to be raised ASAP before proceeding to the BFTs.
Bug Fix Verification
- VERIFIED - bug 705026 - Don't use tablet layout with non-Honeycomb themes (tchung)
- please also spot check this on other devices to see if proper Fennec version is being shown (eg. galaxy Tab, gingerbread phones, froyo phones, honeycomb tablet) - VERIFIED proper Fennec version is being shown(Cami):
- Honeycomb tablets: Galaxy Tab - Android 3.1, Asus Transformer TF101 - Android 3.2
- Gingerbread phone: HTC Desire Z - Android 2.3.3, Galaxy Nexus S - Android 2.3.6
- Froyo phone: Samsung Galaxy S - Android 2.2.
